An AED can only be reached quickly when its public information is correct. For owners and custodians, that requires more than entering an address once. Construction work, relocation or changed opening hours can make a listing unreliable overnight. Update changes immediately. If the AED is temporarily unavailable, mark that status and restore it once the device is ready again.<\/p>\n

4. Maintain the device according to its manufacturer<\/h3>\n

Follow the manufacturer\u2019s maintenance schedule and self-test indicator. Check battery status, electrode expiry dates, damage and kit completeness. After use, replace consumable parts and return the device to service using the applicable procedure.<\/p>\n

5. Assign a responsible custodian<\/h3>\n
