The organisation responsible for an AED usually holds its most reliable information. Claiming your AED in AEDradar connects the public listing to a verified custodian. You can then update location, access and availability whenever circumstances change.<\/p>\n

What does it mean to claim an AED?<\/h2>\n

Claiming identifies you as the responsible custodian of a specific AED. After verification, you control the device\u2019s public profile. Important changes no longer depend entirely on occasional reports from third parties.<\/p>\n

Which information can you manage?<\/h2>\n

Exact location<\/h3>\n

Manage the address, map position and practical location description. Include the correct entrance, floor or recognisable point inside or outside the building.<\/p>\n

Access and opening hours<\/h3>\n

State whether the AED is indoors or outdoors and when it can be reached. Add relevant opening hours and neutral access instructions. Treat cabinet and entry codes as sensitive information and share them only through an appropriate mechanism.<\/p>\n

Availability<\/h3>\n

Update the status when an AED is temporarily removed, relocated, serviced or not yet ready after use. Restore availability once the physical check is complete.<\/p>\n

Manage additional public details where relevant. For technical inspections, batteries and electrode pads, always follow the manufacturer\u2019s instructions and your organisation\u2019s maintenance policy.<\/p>\n
